    I rarely re-watch movies, though once in a while I might watch one again, especially if it's one I really like.

    What's everyone watching for Halloweenies this year? We watch Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, Beetlejuice, Poltergeist, Classic Dracula with Bela Lugosi. What are we missing here for the ultimate line up?

    Not a fan of most classic horror, but I've seen and liked all the others mentioned. I have Elvira's Haunted Hills, which is a fun watch. No pesky ToTers to worry about, so Halloween is just another day to me.

    I don't watch anything specific, but here's a few titles I've seen that would fill the bill:

    Hocus Pocus 1 and 2
    Hotel Transilvania 1-4(?)
    Paranorman
    Evil Dead 1 and 2
    Dawn of the Dead
    Nightmare on Elm St. 1-4
    It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown

    Agreed, that's why I said the above. Those titles listed don't make the
    "I'll watch it again" list, for me. ;-)

    Now that I say that, my re-watch list seems to mostly include older war movies, older western movies, and a comedy or two.

    Maybe the Amityville Horror original movie or the Shining with Jack Nicholso Those are scary movies.
    I loved the shining. Maybe it is time to watch it again. Thanks for the recommendation.

    I might not be able to watch anything during halloween night, but one of these days i'd like to give a shot to the Evil Dead movies since i have never seen them.
    Should i watch them in the order they came out?

    Oh yeah. Love the WWII movies, particularly those with "The Duke". Westerns I'm more picky. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, They Call Me Trinity, The magnificeent Seven, The Cowboys, these are what I think of most.

    I remember seeing in in first-run, and how boring I found it. The pace was just too slow for my taste. Some real classic horror flicks, check out Carrie and The Exorcist. Not as classic but still fun to watch are The Nightmare on Elm St. movies.

    That was good too. Another, more recent, non-traditional zombie movie I liked was Heartbeats(?).

    Close Encounters of the Third Kind was a popular movie that came out a few years before The Shining. I re-watched that movie again years ago and found its pace to be a bit slow too.. It seemed to me that much of the movie was just a lot of teasing and lead-up to the climax at the end, which feels like the most interesting part of the movie.

    Yeah, I always wondered what people saw
    in this movie. Maybe they all just have
    a fascination with the actors. Why was
    there a random scene earlier on with
    the blood at the elevators? And then
    exactly the same scene later while the
    chick is freaking out. It almost makes
    sense in the latter scene, but the
    first one shouldn't have been there. Is
    it just that movies were different
    then? I don't think so because I've
    seen perfectly fine movies from those
    years :).
